Jeremy Jacobsen

Music Director at First Church since 2007, Jeremy Jacobsen is focused on nurturing participation and encouraging enthusiasm for music making in worship. Integrating musical traditions with both sacred and secular sources, Jeremy strives to build community through song and through sound meditation.
In addition to his work at First Church, Jeremy has toured as an independent recording artist and performer. He is proficient on several instruments and a skilled choral conductor. Jeremy holds a Bachelors Degree of Music Performance from the Chicago College of the Performing Arts at Roosevelt University.
